Almost eight weeks ago,  I was unexpectedly warded and underwent a whole series of tests and an operation.  Since then,  it has been a slow and painful recovery. I am glad to be back on my feet. Physiotherapy has been painful and expensive but no argument from my end against that.

Following that experience, I am in no hurry to be back on the posting route.  I know I have missed posting deadlines but seriously,  after what happened two months earlier,  I am relearning to re-examine my life and what's really important.

Delays, Distractions and Delicious ^^

I know many readers are probably already anticipating more delays and excuses,  am personally hoping this is the last of them. I'm being haunted by LW requests and inspiration.  LOL

Plodding along with the writing (4 different stories,  not counting sequels) and may have something posted soon. And as requested by several readers who have contacted me via the feedback function, I will post Destroying Fantasies Part 1 on my blog soon. Watch for it!

And while I'm not G-like in any way, I do believe in "request and thou shalt be given". Okay it's gotten me into trouble occasionally (such as with the Destroying Fantasies saga),  but hey,  why would you want to deny readers satisfaction. Lol so here's the link to the original K. Trying to find spare cash to pay for a proper cover for the ebook version of Destroying Fantasies while pondering the rewrite of the conclusion.  It's expensive to say the least and it'll be my first paid cover. Everything else has been self-designed — I know, I know but it's a choice between that or starving for a month. And I need to eat so...

Stay with me people! Gonna get those stories up as soon as possible. Of course if I do win the lottery, they'll be up pronto LOL Well, I can dream right?

New LW reads

No, you didn't read that wrong, at least not as far as the title goes. I'm still on that hiatus from LW and writing - hey mortal me needs some recovery time. The last time I inadvertently broke the rule and read some LW, I immediately felt the itch to write. With all the pain and meds I'm on, the likelihood of a torturous and tortuous piece is highly likely so in the interest of readers and based on the feedback, it's probably a good thing that I'm on this hiatus. 

That said, a friend DFWBeast has just posted his latest work and it's a sequel ( I wish I could have written ) to a story from another writer Harddaysknight whom I admire. Have fun reading!

The WTF weekend

If this is any indication of the next two months, as my horoscope obsessed friend tells me ( I think I'm more freaked out by her gloom and doom tactics than the real horoscope itself. I've not even read that thing myself Face savoring delicious food), I'm gonna go hide out for a while.


For everyone who's asked about DF part 2, sorry, gonna take a couple of weeks because I need to complete The Original Sin series - because I feel bad for the readers who have been waiting for almost a year and because unless I complete the series, it'll bug me and I can't write book 2 . So, sorry, read part 1 or my other stories in the meantime.


I'm going into evil mode at least for the Original Sin conclusion. I'm fitting revenge and a timescale of almost 18 years into the conclusion so it'll be lengthy and may not be free from inconsistency. I think readers may like Cicely quite a bit since she throws off her victim costume and becomes all twisted and evil. Warning: It can get quite bad, like revenger's tragedy bad.I know this has been said several times but it's bad enough to attract haters, hence the hesitation.

Taking A Break

Summary of developments

For all friends and readers, thanks for the comments and messages via the various channels! Great to know it's not all disappearing into the black hole of the universe. Tiny echoes are better than the all consuming silence.

Chapter One previews are accessible on Wattpad (heavily edited to protect sensibilities) and on Literotica (mostly unedited). And thanks to reader suggestions, there will be an alternative storyline for Marguerite, The basic storyline is already there and it won't be pretty, Then again I've never been too politically correct.
